Watching the cinema in Thailand is very much like watching the cinema everywhere else and at SF Cinema in Jungceylon Shopping Centre you can expect to see the majority of films that are made in Hollywood and some of the British-made movies too.
SF Cinema in Jungceylon has six screens and shows a mixture of Western films in English with Thai subtitles and Thai movies.
All the screens are air-conditioned to the point of approaching Arctic temperatures, so if you chill easily, taking a jumper is recommended.
One important thing to remember is to stand for His Majesty the King before the film as a sign of respect; there’s is a clip that precedes each film and it will tell you when to stand on the screen.
A trip to the cinema will cost between 80 and 160 baht for regular screens and 500 for VIP.
